I’m an experienced and passionate gardener with RHS level 2 qualifications and have been gardening professionally in Northamptonshire for the last 3 years since retiring from my desk job. I moved to Barnes in November 2024 to be closer to family and am now looking for some local gardening work.
I’m knowledgeable, reliable, hard working, trustworthy and friendly! Qualifications, references and my enhanced DBS can be provided.
As well as the actual gardening, I can provide advice on garden design and planting schemes.
Note that I limit my work to SW13 and SW14 because I travel by bicycle bringing all necessary tools with me in my bike trailer.
My hourly rate is £30 although there is a minimum charge of £40 for any appointment.
What I can’t do – sorry!
Tree surgery. Pruning and hedge cutting is fine but taking down large trees or working in the tree tops is definitely for the experts with a head for heights!
Hard landscaping including fencing. I’m happy to help with laying the odd slab or installing some edging but I’m not best qualified to take on more significant tasks like laying patios.
